Lemuria stream new three-track EP for Turnstile Comix series
Their latest musical endeavours sees them turned into characters for an accompanying comic book.
As part of a special collaboration with Silver Sprocket’s Turnstile Comix, Lemuria are going to be releasing a new EP next week (16th December).
Three tracks in total (if you count the download-only third track), the 7” EP was produced by Mark Ryan and is the third instalment of the series. It’s not just about the new music though; the vinyl will come accompanied with a 40-page comic based upon - what Silver Sprocket call - “a harrowing internal tour.”
“Watch as they traverse the vast landscape of Russia,” the website reads, “dodging roves of violent Nazis, crooked cops, mobster shakedowns, gunshots, a tropical storm, rabid dogs, and a substandard German pizza! It’s an insane true story you have to read to believe.”
Illustrated by Mitch Clem and Nation of Amanda, you can check out the first dozen or so pages over at Entertainment Weekly, but in the meantime, stream the latest tracks to come from the three-piece below.
The band are also currently finishing up a tour with Into It. Over It. over in the US before heading out with Prince (the band, don’t get carried away) on the 11th December.
