Lime Garden detail plans for second album ‘Maybe Not Tonight’
They’ve also dropped a groovy new track, ‘23’, to celebrate.

Brighton faves Lime Garden are officially back, having just shared the news that their new LP, ‘Maybe Not Tonight’ - a follow up to 2024 debut ‘One More Thing’ - will be arriving on 10th April via So Young Records.
The album announcement comes in the wake of its title track (which was released at the end of last year) and has been heralded by new single ‘23’ - a self-described “Happy Mondays–inspired jam” that, in true LG style, is laden with off-kilter grooves and attitude galore.
Explaining more about their latest cut, vocalist and guitarist Chloe Howard has said: “the concept was born from a dream I had where I was talking to my younger self. In the dream, I was essentially ripping into my own personality and lack of success.”
It’s also an apt introduction to the overarching concept of ‘Maybe Not Tonight’, which is set against a backdrop of a night out gone awry. If ‘23’ is the anticipation-filled, fidgety beginning, then the following nine tracks are, Chloe explains, what comes next.
“As the night progresses, you’re having a great time, until your ex walks in with someone else. You hate the way you look but rather than going home, you press the big red button and get even more drunk. Eventually, you take yourself home full of melancholy, chaos and anger.”
Dive into the brilliantly chaotic world of ‘23’ below.
