Listen: Gabriel Bruce Shares ‘Silent Night’

The singer-songwriter performs his take on the age-old carol.

We’ll admit it. If Gabriel Bruce came knocking at our door singing, we’d be a bit scared. Mostly because there’s a pretty hefty entrance door he’d have got past. But here, the singer-songwriter who’s expected to release his debut album early in 2013, has had his wicked way with a carol singers’ favourite, ‘Silent Night’.

Below you can listen to his take on the song declared an ‘intangible cultural heritage’ by UNESCO no less, having been written in Austria in 1818 and in its native German titled ‘Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht’. Yes, we can use Wikipedia too.

We can’t, however, work out what that cover art is all about…
