Listen: MS MR Remix Sylvan Esso’s ‘Coffee’

It’s about time that ‘Coffee’ - one of 2014’s slickest, most addictive singles around - started being a magnet for remixes. A highlight on Sylvan Esso’s self-titled debut album, it’s just picked up a new take from NYC duo MS MR.

The remix kicks off with an echoed line of ‘Cold coffee / Warm coffee,’ mimicking a sorry 9-to-5’ers morning routine. But it eventually picks up momentum, blending house keys with the caffeine-fuelled ‘Get up, get down’ chorus.
