Listen: Muse Unveil Dubstep-Influenced ‘Unsustainable’

Muse have unveiled a second taster of their forthcoming album The 2nd Law, and yes, it’s the track that looks set to take the band’s opinion dividing abilities to a new level.

‘Unsustainable’ originally featured in the band’s short album teaser earlier this year, and showcases Bellamy and co’s take on dubstep. It won’t be the second single from the record, however, with ‘Madness’ following up the already released ‘Survival’ on August 10th. ‘Unsustainable’ has been made available early to fans who have pre-ordered the album; you can check it out above.

The follow up to 2009’s ‘The Resistance’, ‘The 2nd Law’ will be released on October 1st. The track listing reads:

‘Supremacy’
‘Madness’
‘Panic Station’
‘Prelude’
‘Survival’
‘Follow Me’
‘Animals’
‘Explorers’
‘Big Freeze’
‘Save Me’
‘Liquid State’
‘The 2nd Law: Unsustainable’
‘The 2nd Law: Isolated System’
