Listen: Paeris Giles Streams New ‘Better’ Track

Bayy member Paeris Giles’ second track to date is drenched in a sleepy, nostalgic aesthetic.

Last year, member of BAYY Paeris Giles (not pictured - that’s just his mate, apparently) streamed ‘Ava’, a strung out solo number soaked in nostalgic residue. Part Jackson Scott drawl, part Velvet Underground, The Millennium in its production, above anything else it was the sound of a bedroom kid getting his kicks from clear-cut pop songs.

A new track, ‘Better’, heads up a compilation released by the guys at Beech Coma. It appears alongside new songs by Tuff Love and Home School, plus efforts from Yoofs and the aforementioned BAYY. It comes out 14th April, pre-order here.

‘Better’ is less downtrodden than its predecessor. This time Paeris gets woozy in a more romantic light, delivering cutting lines under a sleepy aesthetic.
