London songwriter Rebecca Clements is stepping out with ‘Wildlife’, a debut track ‘proper’ that establishes her as one of the UK’s most exciting, free-to-roam talents.

Using space and sparse production to her advantage, the Iain Archer-producer ‘Wildlife’ is a simple collision of echo-laced guitars and frank storytelling. It’s a song about being reined in by restrictions, getting caught up and pegged down by limited possibilities - it’s ironic in a sense, given that after this, Clements can go pretty much anywhere she chooses. A star in the making? Don’t bet against it.
