Listen: SOAK Covers CHVRCHES’ ‘The Mother We Share’
Listen to the 17-year-old songwriter take on a track from the band that signed her.

The new chapter in SOAK and CHVRCHES’ blossoming musical communion, 17 year old songwriter Bridie Monds-Watson has covered ‘The Mother We Share’. This follows on from the release of her debut ‘Blud’ EP via CHVRCHES’ own Goodbye Records, plus recent dates on a UK tour which saw the Belfast-born, Derry-raised songwriter playing huge venues for the first time.
SOAK’s take on ‘The Mother We Share’ strips away the angst-ridden synth pop and instead opts for eerie, emotion filled acoustics.
Next week SOAK plays a headline show at London’s St Pancras Old Church, 10th April.
