17-year-old songwriter releases her debut ‘Blud’ EP today.
Derry-based songwriter Bridie Monds-Watson releases her debut SOAK EP today. ‘Blud’ features its stirring title-track and a newly unveiled song, ‘24 Windowed House’, which against sets Bridie head and shoulders above most veteran folksmiths who lack the ability to place emotions this far upfront.
This latest track builds from humble beginnings into a stark, striking beast that crystallises into full view. It’s no wonder CHVRCHES are such massive fans, releasing it on their own newly-minted Goodbye Records (a Virgin/EMI offshoot).
