Listen: SOHN Previews Debut Album With ‘Artifice’ Track

Vienna-based producer SOHN has shared a new single from his 4AD debut full-length ‘Tremors’, out 7th April. ‘Artifice’ gained its first play tonight (12th February) as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record and it links up with ‘The Wheel’, ‘Bloodflows’ and ‘Lessons’, previously unveiled songs that also feature on the new record.

SOHN’s gained a reputation as the go-to guy for genre-meshing pop, with BANKS and Kwabs being regular collaborators. This new track goes against the grain, upping the pace and standing out as the producer’s most immediate song to date.

Lyrics range from the anxious (‘Is it over? ‘Cause the last thread came undone’) to the Shia LeBouef-channelling ‘Somebody better let me know my name / Before I give myself away’. Anyway, it’s a very good song and it’s streaming below.
