Listen: Tyler, The Creator Shares ‘Garbage’ Track
‘Garbage’ is taken from the soundtrack to GTA V which comes out in September.
With the release of GTA V edging ever closer, news of who is set to soundtrack to the game is becoming harder and harder to avoid. From rumours of a Flying Lotus radio station to a rejected Blood Orange song, Rockstar have certainly held their cards close to their chest.
However, rumours of new Tyler, The Creator material featuring in the game seem to be all but confirmed in the form of a new track called ‘Garbage’. The track sees Tyler taking on the persona of an imaginary drug dealer, rhyming over a slick, minimal beat that Tyler said was inspired by Clipse. He pretty much confirmed its place on GTA V yesterday morning, saying on Twitter: ‘I HAVE A NEW SONG CALLED GARBAGE THAT’S GONNA BE SOME WHERE THAT I AM SOOOO FUCKING EXCITED FOR’.
Check out ‘Garbage’ below. GTA V is out September 15.
