Lorde gives brilliant response to impatient fans, says new album is written
The singer has urged fans to let her take her time over LP2.
It’s not quite at Frank Ocean levels yet, but everyone’s pretty damn excited for Lorde’s second album.
Some fans on Instagram are saying they might even “give up” on her as an artist, which is going a little bit far if we say so. Lorde says so too, giving a brilliant response to the fan.
“Give up on me if you want to!”, she says, highlighting that artists need to be given time to write honestly, and distancing herself from “some team who start the maching up every eighteen months”.
She also reveals that the new album is written, and now in the production stages, which is the really exciting bit. ‘Pure Heroine’ came out in 2013, and now its follow-up doesn’t look quite as far away.
