Lorde Postpones Australian Tour Due To Illness, Announces London Show
Ella Yelich-O’Connor’s parents demanded that she returned home to rest.

After months of touring her ‘Pure Heroine’ debut, Lorde’s been forced to put a hold on things by returning home due to illness.
Dates for her Australian tour have been postponed after Ella Yelich-O’Connor picked up a chest infection and being ordered home by her parents.
On Twitter, the singer explained to fans: ‘I have had to postpone my Australian shows because of a nasty chest infection and general ill health. I am so so gutted to have to do this but my parents and my team stepped in telling me I needed a break after being non-stop since the Grammys in January. We will 100% be back for this tour (most likely in November) so don’t worry about that.’
i’m truly sorry if i let you down or if you feel inconvenienced by this and i hope you can understand. x
