Mauwe set out on an exciting path with ‘That’s All’

Mauwe are a new Bristol two-piece, and their first effort, debut single ‘That’s All’, attacks on many fronts. The track, debuting as today’s Neu Pick, starts with a slow, probing verse led by hushed vocals, before its chorus turns the single into an understated pop banger.

Talking about the debut offering in a press release, the duo say: “Everyone knows that cathartic space after a relationship when the madness is all over and you’ve had time to think clearly and reflect on the whole thing.”

“That’s All is about a beautiful kind of relief, in which you can finally think about a person and not tie any kind of intense emotion to them.”

There’s little info about where Jay and Portia are heading next, but if ‘That’s All’ is anything to go by, it’s straight to the charts. Listen below.
