Menomena Share New Single, ‘Toomer’

Portland indie-rock types Menomena were last seen not so long ago with the release of fifth album - and first without the services of founding member Brent Knopf - ‘Moms’, back in September of last year (read our review over here).

Now, this week, they’ve decided to add to that with the release of a double A-side, featuring two songs recorded during the same sessions as ‘Moms’, but not included on the final release.

‘Toomer’ and ‘Banyon’ were made available digitally on 17th January, via label Barsuk Records.

The single’s release precedes a series of North American tour dates, which begin on 12th February in Iowa, and continue until 2nd March in Salt Lake City.

The first of the two tracks, ‘Toomer’ is available to listen to via the label’s SoundCloud below.
