Mikal Cronin and Kristen Schaal pay homage to Natalie Imbruglia’s ‘Torn’ on ‘Turn Around’ video

Mikal Cronin has shared a new video for ‘Turn Around’, a single featured on his latest album ‘MCIII’.

The new video for ‘Turn Around’ features actress Kristen Schaal and actors Paul Scheer and Kurt Braunohler in a shot-for-shot remake of Natalie Imbruglia’s ‘Torn’ video. Kurt Braunohler directed the clip, created through Jash’s ‘$5K Video’ series, in which artists are given free reign to use the figure in any way they like for a music video, providing they team up with a comedian for the production.

Cronin’s new long-player was released on Monday 4th May via Merge Records, the follow-up to his 2013 release ‘MCII’.

He also performed the track on ‘Conan’ on the say of ‘MCIII’s release; watch the highlights of the performance here.
