Watch Missy Elliott takes to the pool in the video for ‘I’m Better’

Over a year on from her last single ‘WTF (Where They From)’ Missy Elliot is back again, this time with ‘I’m Better’.

Featuring Lamb on the hook (that’s the Grammy-nominated producer making his rap debut here, not the electronic music duo from Manchester), the song is a slow-burning creeper where Missy’s ever-impeccable flows are put firmly under the spotlight.

The track’s video, directed by Dave Meyers and Missy herself, is set in a surreal futuristic dystopia, where Missy and her dancers do some dance moves that often defy physics. How are they bending like that? It might have something to do with the fact that they’re not exactly standing on solid ground, and in the end they wind up in a big ol’ pool. There, they start to do some Pilates, which seems a bit dangerous. Don’t try this at home, kids.
