Modest Mouse Cancel Scheduled UK Dates

As a means of focusing on the recording of their new album, Modest Mouse have been forced to cancel all scheduled UK & European dates for the coming months.


July dates in Bristol, Brighton, Leeds, Manchester, London and elsewhere have been cancelled. The band are focusing on the follow-up to 2007’s ‘We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank’.


In a statement to ATP, the band said: ‘After much thought, we have decided to cancel our EU/UK tour to continue work on our forthcoming album.


We do appreciate our fans and promise that we will make it up to you next year.”
