Modest Mouse hint at new material with Instagram image

Modest Mouse have teased new music for the first time in five years, hinting that a new release is imminent.
The band have started up an official Instagram page, its first post being an image showing a vinyl labelled “Side A: Lampshades on Fire”.
Since 2011, the song itself has been showcased live, and it’s expected to be taken from a new album, due in 2015 and following up ‘No One’s First and You’re Next’ from 2009.
New music has been promised for a couple of years. Back in 2013, tour dates were cancelled in order for the band to finish a new LP. 2014’s seen them re-releasing their albums ‘This Is a Long Drive for Someone With Nothing to Think About’ and ‘The Lonesome Crowded West’.
