Modest Mouse’s Isaac Brock took a snooze at the wheel of his car

Modest Mouse vocalist Isaac Brock was cited for careless driving in his hometown of Portland yesterday after falling asleep at the wheel of his car.

As The Oregonian reports, Brock failed to stop when he approached stationary traffic, crashing into a static pickup truck. He “hit the rear of a City of Portland Parks pick-up-truck, which hit a Subaru, which hit another Subaru, which likely hit a 5th car that left the scene (perhaps not knowing it had been tapped).”

Brock was tested for intoxication but was found to not be over the drink-drive limit. Modest Mouse just finished a month-long co-headline tour with Brand New across America, in support of last year’s ‘Strangers to Ourselves’ album, their first in eight years.
