DIY Presents
MOULD & L’objectif to play first edition of DIY Neu Nights in London
The intimate show - taking place at Bermondsey Social Club later this month - is brought to you with the support of PRS For Music.

As you’ll hopefully know by now, here at DIY we love to shine a spotlight on the most exciting new acts around, over in our dedicated new music section - or Neu, for short. And because we know there’s nothing quite as good as getting to see an artist live on stage, we’re starting a brand new live event series to help do just that. Without further ado, we’d like to introduce DIY’s Neu Nights, a monthly gig series focussed on bringing you the best of new music live.
What’s more, we’ve got a real doozy of a show to kick things off: we’re going to be taking over South London’s Bermondsey Social Club later this month with storming Bristol trio MOULD at the helm, as they get ready to unleash their debut album ‘Hoping As A Coping Mechanism’ later this summer (on 10th July via 5dB Records, to be exact). Elsewhere on the bill, they’ll be joined by rising Leeds quartet L’objectif, as they get ready to enter the next chapter of the band.
Taking place on Friday 19th June, our first edition of Neu Nights also comes to you with the support of PRS For Music, the organisation representing the rights of songwriters, composers and music publishers in the UK and around the world, as part of its Livelihood campaign.
The show is 18+ with tickets priced at just £12, plus booking fee - and they’re on sale now! Move quickly and come join us for what’s sure to be an incredible night celebrating new music!
PRS’s Livelihood campaign is about making sure the songwriters and music creators behind the tracks get paid when their music is performed live. When you play gigs, you can earn performance royalties on top of your fee, while also supporting collaborators who aren’t in the room. Just submit your setlist and PRS will take care of the rest.
