Muse channel black-eyed ghost children on latest album teasers
#MuseDrones suggests those album title guesses might be right.
Late last night the band followed up the teasing, posting a pair of scribbled-over magazine covers with the band sporting blacked-out eyes, captioned simply ‘#MuseDrones’.
The trio began work on the follow-up to 2012’s ‘The 2nd Law’ with producer Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange in October last year, with frontman Matt Bellamy having suggested there’d be a “sequel” to fan favourite ‘Citizen Erased’ on the record, as well as themes of “Deep ecology, the empathy gap and world war 3.”. Standard stuff for the band, then.
Muse are already confirmed for a number of 2015 festivals. They’re headlining Bilbao BBK Live, which DIY is partnering up with for this summer. We’ll be bringing you all the pre-fest excitement and backstage gossip.
