My Chemical Romance play first show in seven years in Los Angeles
The band announced their reunion back on Halloween.
It’s official: My Chemical Romance are back and they’ve now played together live for first time since 2012.
The band - made up of brothers Gerard and Mikey Way, Frank Iero and Ray Toro - performed together for the first time since they announced their hiatus over six years ago when they hit the stage at Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo Hall on Friday (20th December) night.
The band’s set covered tracks from across their career - including an appearance from their debut album’s ’Our Lady Of Sorrows’ - with the band opening proceedings with classic cult hit ‘I’m Not Okay (I Promise)’, before closing with two encores, featuring ‘Vampire Money’, ‘Helena’ and ‘Welcome To The Black Parade’.
