My Chemical Romance To ‘Sing’ For Japan

Following their unusual Pulp cover earlier this month, My Chemical Romance have revealed that they will release a special version of their single ‘Sing’ to raise money for victims of the Japanese natural disaster.

Money raised through sales of the single will go to the Red Cross’ Japanese fund.

The re-worked version will include Japanese orchestral music and comes complete with a video (below) featuring fan contributions. The new video depicts scenes from Japan as well as artwork, written messages and clips from the MCRmy.

My Chemical Romance are due to appear at Radio1’s Big Weekend in May before their joint headline slot with Pulp at Reading & Leeds in August.
