Natalie Prass says she plans to release a new album in 2016
Prass talks festival highlights and covers during a recent Q&A at Outside Lands Festival.

Natalie Prass performed at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco last week, and spoke about plans to release her next album following the release of her debut back in January this year.
Prass has toured heavily in 2015 since releasing her eponymous debut ‘Natalie Prass’, with her current schedule keeping her on the road until December. Speaking to Stereogum, Prass was asked whether she was writing new material. She said that she will have a “whole month to write” once the tour is completed.
“Once I’m in songwriting mode, it’s non-stop. It’s like wildfire. I’m just so eager to do that. I love everything about doing this, but my favourite thing is writing and recording,” she said. “The goal is to record it [a full-length] and have it done by, like May, June. And then release it - however long it’ll take.. hopefully not too long. That stuff takes a while, to get a record ready to put out, but I at least want to have it recorded, ready to go. That’s the goal.”
Elsewhere in the conversation, Prass said that her festival highlights this year have included The War On Drugs, Charlie XCX and Sylvan Esso.
