Natalie Prass shares unsettling video for ‘Why Don’t You Believe In Me’

Natalie Prass has shared a video for ‘Why Don’t You Believe In Me’, taken from her debut self-titled album, released last week on Spacebomb Records and produced by Matthew E. White.

Now the singer-songwriter has shared an unsettling visual, running alongside the track. The video was created and directed by artists Tiona McClodden and Erica Prince, and stars Prass removing her face with a makeup brush in a mirror. Revealing a new expression and facial features misplaced with each stroke, Prass states that the song “is about self doubt”, and is translated uncannily in the video by looking at “self examination and layers that both distort and reveal.”

Natalie Prass will be joining Ryan Adams for a tour across Europe in February and March. The upcoming dates are as follows:

FEBRUARY
19, Brighton, The Brighton Dome
21 Leicester, Leicester De Montford Hall
24 Edinburgh, Usher Hall
25 Leeds, O2 Academy Leeds
27 London, Eventim Apollo
28 Wolverhampton, Wolverhampton Civic

MARCH

9 Copenhagen, Denmark – Falconer Salen
