Natalie Prass shares unsettling video for ‘Why Don’t You Believe In Me’
Prass will tour with Ryan Adams in Europe this month.
Natalie Prass has shared a video for ‘Why Don’t You Believe In Me’, taken from her debut self-titled album, released last week on Spacebomb Records and produced by Matthew E. White.
Now the singer-songwriter has shared an unsettling visual, running alongside the track. The video was created and directed by artists Tiona McClodden and Erica Prince, and stars Prass removing her face with a makeup brush in a mirror. Revealing a new expression and facial features misplaced with each stroke, Prass states that the song “is about self doubt”, and is translated uncannily in the video by looking at “self examination and layers that both distort and reveal.”
