Nic Hessler shares lead single from debut album

Nic Hessler has announced that his debut album ‘Soft Connections’ will be released 16th March via Captured Tracks. The Californian artist has previously released two singles on the label, both of which were under his Catwalk alias and released back in 2010 and 2011.

Ditching the moniker for his debut, Hessler returns with ‘Hearts, Repeating’ which opens the album with a soft, carefree melody that bursts with radiance. Though Hessler’s influences are rooted in lo-fi culture, ‘Hearts, Repeating’ is a well polished and shimmering piece, with romping with drums and jangling guitars possessing the track’s mellow tones.
