Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds to play special homecoming show at Brighton’s Preston Park
It’ll be their only 2026 UK headline show…

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced that they’ll be returning to Brighton next summer - on 31st July 2026, to be precise - for a sure-to-be triumphant turn at the city’s Preston Park; and, what’s more, it’ll be the band’s only UK headline show of the year.
Brighton is central to The Bad Seeds’ lore, having been Nick Cave’s adopted hometown for over two decades, as well as the inspiration for myriad lyrics and visual concepts. In his own words: “I am thrilled beyond words to return to my beloved Brighton with The Bad Seeds to play Preston Park. It’s a homecoming! It’s going to be big, bad, and beautiful. An epic show!!!”
The one-off performance will see the band play cuts from across all four decades of their career, including their acclaimed latest album, ‘Wild God’. Tickets will be available via presale from Thursday 25th September for fans who have registered here; otherwise, remaining tickets will go on general sale on Friday 26th September.
