Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker) won’t be stopped on new track ‘Stop Me (Stop You)’

It’s Murphy’s second track since ditching the Chet Faker moniker.

There ain’t no stopping him now… After revealing that he’d no longer be going under the name Chet Faker and releasing ‘Fear Less’ a couple of months back, Nick Murphy has unveiled yet another new song.

‘Stop Me (Stop You)’ has been co-produced by Dave Harrington, aka one half of DARKSIDE, and it’s probably everything you’d want from a collaboration between the pair. Kicking off as a noisy, pulsating electro banger, the track descends down a rabbit hole of atmospheric, swirling vintage synths before morphing into a piano ballad. That’s a heck of a lot to cram into 8 minutes, but Murphy pulls it off.
