Neu Pick
Night Flowers get luminous with ‘Amy’
We’ve got the first spin of the Transatlantic band’s glimmering new b-side.

Every weekday, DIY’s new music know-it-all Neu brings you one essential new release to get obsessed with. Today’s Neu Pick comes from Night Flowers.
Transatlantic day-dreamers Night Flowers first met by chance in London a couple of years back, and specialise in luminous, sugar-edged pop. Twinkling and drifting, blending Sophia Pettit’s hushed vocals with sherbet-sharp guitars, ‘Amy’ is the flip-side to their recent ‘Glow in the Dark’ single, heady with romance and escapism.
“There’s a lot of things we could see,” muses ‘Amy’ colliding gold and silver atop a web of tangled melodies. Song’s a doozy, in other words.
We’ve got the first spin of Night Flowers’ ‘Amy’ here on DIY. Have a listen, and check out the band’s upcoming tour dates below that. Their new single is out on 15th July, too - pre-order a 7” here.
