Night Flowers celebrate friendship in the video for ‘Hey Love’

It follows two real-life best friends on a journey through Hull.

After returning with ‘Losing the Light’ earlier this year, Night Flowers announced last month that they’d be releasing their debut album ‘Wild Notion’ on 13th April through Dirty Bingo Records.

Now they’re back with new track ‘Hey Love’ and a video from photographer Josh Moore. It’s set in Hull and the two girls that star in it – Olivia and Alicia – are best friends in real life too. Interspersed with clips of the band performing, it’s a naturalistic video that follows the girls from the bedroom to the Humber.

The band’s Greg Ullyart says: “The song is basically about friendship and positivity through hardship, which sometimes feels more difficult as you get older. We wanted something uncynical and real, so we all had a nice day out on the Humber coast and filmed the girls hanging out, just doing what they do naturally”.

Night Flowers are also set to play a series of shows in the coming months, including an album release show at The Lexington in London 27th April. Tickets are on sale now.
