Latitude 2015
Portishead, Wolf Alice and James Blake continue Latitude 2015 on day two
Other highlights include Laura Marling and Savages, plus DIY’s The Alcove stage.
Following Alt-J’s headline antics, it’s left to established favourites to top the bill on the second day of Latitude 2015.
Portishead are making a rare live appearance over on the Obelisk Arena, where they might be showcasing material from a follow-up to ‘Third’. Either way, they’ll be bringing an immersive set that could easily provide the fest’s standout moment.
They’ll have tough competition, though. Wolf Alice are on a roll, and their mid-afternoon slot on the BBC 6 Music Stage promises to be huge. Following them is Savages and The Vaccines, while James Blake and Laura Marling are highlights on the main stage.
Once again, DIY is hosting The Alcove, boasting a new music-obsessed line-up. There’s London trio Real Lies, exciting songwriter Josef Salvat and the Nils Frahm-approved Douglas Dare.
Other highlights include Oscar and Prides over on the Lake Stage, and sets from Ben Khan, Marika Hackman and Leon Bridges at the iArena.
Check out a playlist of day two’s highlights below, plus a running order for The Alcove.
