Puppy live out shameless wig-out rock fantasies with ‘Do It Again’
Heavy metal and pop-punk loving newcomers bring the riffs on their latest cut.

London trio Puppy encapsulate the MTV2-on-repeat lifestyle of everyday twenty-somethings who’d spend their teenage years admiring their own guitar heroes. The staples of heavy metal and pop-punk put a glaze over their self-titled debut EP, and peering out of the nostalgia and tongue-in-cheek display is something revitalising.
With ‘Do It Again’, Jock Norton and co. plug into revivalism without replicating the golden age of shameless licks and wig-out mosh parties. Premiering below, it’s taken from a 25th September release on Best Fit Recordings. Check out a tracklist above the player.
