Want an insight into the track itself? Of course you do. We spoke to Frank Carter and Jim Carroll about the story behind it.

‘It’s called the ‘Handsome Devils Club’. It’s just a straight forward rock song that came together pseudo-last minute,’ explains Carter, before Carroll details further. ‘Yeah, it was a song that I had for over a year and I actually had different vocal on it before we started playing together. Then, we were doing studio doing pre-production in the studio and it was before one of the last nights we were in there that I took this song to Frank. He put vocals to it and then we recorded it two days later.’

‘I was so angry at him! He’d been holding back on this gold!’

The band’s debut album - which was produced in Brooklyn, and is very nearly finished - will be released in October via Vertigo Records.
