Rainer air video for recent single ‘Nocturn’
London duo will release their debut album, ‘Water’ next month
Rainer have shared a new video for their recent single, ’Nocturn’.
The track is the lead single for the London-based duo’s debut album, ‘Water’, linking up with the second preview track ‘Marry’ from earlier this month. ‘Water’ follows the group’s 2013 debut EP, ‘Hope/Satin/Glass/Dreams’, with the long-player out 18th May via Kissability/Alegra.
Directed by Alexander Brown of the London film collective The Sweet Shop, the video for ‘Nocturn’ focuses on a ballet dancer ordered to give up her passion after a recent diagnosis of joint hypermobility. Against doctors orders, the dancer continues to practice despite the apparent pain, later turning to teaching before shrinking from the classroom into a world of kaleidoscopic visuals and fond memories.
