Regina Spektor unveils two new songs ‘Party Upstairs’ and ‘Stay’

New York singer performs new material live at hometown benefit gig

Regina Spektor debuted two brand new songs during a New York benefit gig for Doctors Without Borders.

Her short, four song set featured ‘Party Upstairs’, a duet with husband and former Mouldy Peaches guitarist Jack Dishel (aka, Only Son), and a solo piano ballad, as yet officially untitled, but reportedly named ‘Stay’.

This is the first taste of what fans can expect from Spektor’s follow up to 2012’s ‘What We Saw From The Cheap Seats’ and the first new material from the singer-songwriter since ‘You’ve Got Time’ – the theme song for Netflix prison series ‘Orange Is The New Black’ – was released some 18 months ago.

Spektor recently featured on an episode of ‘Boardwalk Empire’ with a cover of ‘Love Me Or Leave Me’.
