Royce Wood Junior announces debut album ‘The Ashen Tang’

Royce Wood Junior has shared a new track titled ’Midnight’, alongside the first few details of his debut album.

The London producer’s first full-length offering will be titled ‘The Ashen Tang’ and is set for release on 11th May via 37 Adventures, who previously put out his two EPs ‘Rover’ and ‘Tonight Matthew’.

Hot on the heels of the ‘Rover’ EP, new track ‘Midnight’ is a soul stomper with looped pianos and water-tank bubbles providing the track’s early melody. Wood reflects on past failures of the day, wiping away the memories with humour and a belief that the following day will be better. With no room to wallow, Wood provides his most confident vocal take so far on a bouncy, multi-faceted pop treasure.
