Ry X unveils standalone track, ‘Love Like This’

Australian songwriter Ry X has spent the best part of 2014 touring with The Acid, his initially mysterious, buzzy alt-pop trio, made up of himself, Steve Nalepa and Adam Freeland.

Before The Acid, everything boiled down to his solo work, and today he’s unveiled his first solo material since a 2013 debut, ahead of his live return at London’s Oval Space.

‘Love Like This’ is a warm, spacious return, full of organic horn sections and Ry’s customary, falsetto-affected croon.
