Sam Fender releases spirited new single ‘Tyrants’ following third number one album
The new track is lifted from his new vinyl-only Record Store Day EP ‘Me and the Dog’.

Sam Fender has today released his brand new spirited single, ‘Tyrants’. The new track is taken from his recently released vinyl-only EP, ‘Me and the Dog’, sold especially for Record Store Day.
The song comes just months after Fender released his third number one album, ‘People Watching’ - which was the fastest selling record of 2025 so far. The North Shields star is clearly having a huge year, with the album’s success and another BRIT in the bag for best Rock/Alternative Act already under his belt.
Fender will return to play live for his loyal UK fans at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool this May, before hitting four cities for sold-out stadium shows which visit London, Manchester, Newcastle and Belfast.
