Shock Machine’s debut album is out early next year
Klaxons man James Righton releases his first LP in February.
Sound the (ahem) klaxon - James Righton’s announced his debut solo album as Shock Machine. His self-titled record is out on 17th February via Marathon Artists. In James’ own words, the album is a bit like “Elton John’s Benny & the Jets on acid”. Right then.
Best known for lending his pipes and keyboard skills to The Klaxons, James wandered off to a log cabin in the south of France (eat your heart out, Bon Iver) to make his solo record. It’s produced by desk-manning whizz James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Florence + The Machine, Haim). The tracklist for ‘Shock Machine’ is as follows:
1. Open Up The Sky
2. Unlimited Love
3. Shock Machine
4. Lost In The Mystery
5. Let Her Love In
6. First Of May
7. Fire Up My Heart
8. Strange Waves
9. Get You
10. Something More
