Shrag have announced they will release a new album in spring of next year, via WIAIWYA and Fortuna POP! Their third full length, it’s titled ‘Canines’ and is currently due in May.
Speaking of the record, lead singer Helen King says: ‘We wrote Canines between January and August this year in a long series of slightly fevered evenings ensconced in the shed at the bottom of Bob’s garden.
‘It’s a pop record about bones and skin and cities and compulsions and love and confusion. It’s a bit strange, but you can dance to some of it, and it makes a particular kind of sense to us, which feels very exciting.’
The band will play a tour prior to the release, kicking off at Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar in Brighton, on 23rd February, and going on to play ten shows in total. Catch them at:
