Slaughter Beach, Dog shares new track ‘Acolyte’

After releasing their most recent album ‘Holy Ghost’, Modern Baseball announced that they’d be going on a hiatus.

A couple of months after the announcement though, the band’s Jake Ewald released an EP of work, ‘Motorcycle.jpg’ as Slaughter Beach, Dog. Now, his new album ‘Birdie’ is just around the corner, arriving on 27th October via Big Scary Monsters/ Lame-O Records. Speaking of the process of writing the record, Jake has said: “When I gave myself the specific goal to write these kinds of songs and figure out how to do it, it just broke me open in a way I really needed”.

Last month, Jake shared ‘Fish Fry’ and now, ahead of the album’s release, he’s unveiled ‘Acolyte’. It’s a lilting slice from him, with some laid-back whistling in the mix.
