SOAK announces debut album, airs new ‘Sea Creatures’ video
‘Before We Forgot How To Dream’ is out this June.
Bridie-Monds Watson aka SOAK has announced her debut album, ‘Before We Forgot How To Dream’. She’s also airing a new video for ‘Sea Creatures’.
SOAK loves skateboarding. She’s not afraid to tell people about it, either. Before she heads off on a tour (where she’s exclusively playing skate parks and gear shops), she’s airing a new video for ‘Sea Creatures’.
The new clip kicks off with skateboard footage, before things go a bit skewed and - unless the narrative’s completely botched - SOAK turns into a ghost. She steps into the lives of strangers - an old guy playing golf in his living room, a lonely dude in an arcade struggling with his life, a businesswoman contemplating big decisions and giving up for the day - before going full circle on the situation and waking up just fine. See, skateboarding never hurt anyone.
Out 1st June, debut album ‘Before We Forgot How to Dream’ is released via Rough Trade. Pre-order here and check out a tracklist.
