Spoilers look to the ‘Imminent Future’ with their new single

Bursting out of London town with all the grit and smoke still clinging to their clothes, Spoilers waste no time laying waste to their surroundings on ‘Imminent Future’.

The first track to be taken from their debut album ‘Anti Vibe’, it’s a punishing introduction to their brutally honest post-punk. Burying everything amongst a murky melody, it’s an introspective, pacy type of catharsis.

“It’s about confronting yourself,” says vocalist Craig Sharp of their debut, “dealing with anxiety, being honest, active and being in love. The lyrics are fundamentally optimistic but the sound of Spoilers on this record is still pretty angry and confrontational, which is one of the reasons we decided to call the album ‘Anti Vibe’, whilst also making reference to our label ‘Vibe/Anti Vibe’.”
