Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks announce tour, new single

Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks are to play a short string of live dates later this month.

Around their appearances at this year’s End of the Road festival in Dorset and Electric Picnic in Ireland at the end of August, the band - who released their latest album, ‘Wig Out At Jagbags’ back in January - will visit Brighton, Newcastle, Nottingham and Liverpool.

They have also revealed the next single to be taken from the record will be ‘Scattegories’, released on 29th September digitally.

The dates - including those on mainland Europe, too - are:
