Tei Shi shares Honne ‘Bassically’ remix, announces UK dates

Valerie Teicher aka Tei Shi took a serious step up late last year with ‘Bassically’, a track that excelled past her head-turning early efforts, switching heady blog-pop into a crazed disco fusion. Out stepped a star, one capable of turning pop on its head at will.

A new remix of her 2014 single has emerged from UK duo HONNE, another hotly-tipped act entering 2015 as one of the most talked-about newcomers. DIY’s got the first play (below), alongside news of Tei Shi’s forthcoming UK dates.

Teicher’s been confirmed to support Jungle on a couple of UK shows (including the last of their UK tour, at London’s Brixton Academy). She’ll also take to all three legs of Dot to Dot festival, before appearing at Field Day and Parklife 2015.
