Teleman go barmy with their ‘Tangerine’ video

Moshi Moshi-signed arty bunch Teleman have always been ones for the finer things in life, but in their new ‘Tangerine’ video, they’re letting their hair down.

As bonkers as you like, the clip follows that titular tangerine as it floats about East London’s latest ace new venue Moth Club. There’s juggling, magic, and all kinds of daft adventures for our orange hero, as the group take to the club’s glitzy stage for a similarly tongue inc heek performance.

“The band wanted to shoot a performance video at the Moth Club in Hackney - and they thought it would be fun if they were all playing the wrong instruments,” explains director Andy West. “The club has a bizarre mixture of local talent show glitz and military memorabilia, so I decided to create a tangerine themed magic trick as the catalyst. It was pretty close, but I think the tangerines gave the best performance on the night.”
