The Charlatans lead latest V Festival additions

The Charlatans and Echo and the Bunnymen are amongst the latest acts added to this year’s V Festival bill.

Running between August 22nd and 23rd in Weston park, Stafforshire and Hylands Park, Essex, other artists joining the line-up include Sigma, Indiana, Wretch 32, Hilltop Hoods and Lawson.

This will be the eighth appearance at V Festival. “Having been lucky enough to be part of the first ever V Festival line up in ’96 we’re thrilled to be playing its 20th anniversary year,” frontman Tim Burgess said.

The new bands join already announced acts including Kasabian, Calvin Harris, Sam Smith, George Ezra, Jessie Ware and Chvrches.
