The Charlatans, Rolo Tomassi & Honeyblood for Tramlines 2015
They join the Sheffield fest, which will take place from 24th to 26th July.
The Charlatans have been confirmed as the headliners of this year’s Tramlines.
The band, who played an intimate show in London on Friday night as part of the BRITs Week, are due to appear at the Sheffield event this June.
Alongside the band, the likes of Rolo Tomassi, Honeyblood and Mike Skinner have been added to the line-up, which already features Ghostpoet, Dutch Uncles and Slaves.
The full list of new additions to Tramlines 2015 is: The Charlatans, Rolo Tomassi, Mike Skinner, Honeyblood, Ultimate Painting and Hannah Lou Clarke.
Marika Hackman and Gulf are also set to play, with Blanck Mass, Portico, Billy Bragg, Kate Tempest, And So I Watch You From Afar, Knifeworld, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, Melle Mel & Scorpio, West Street Mob, Jagaara and Roman Flugel also previously confirmed.
This year’s Tramlines takes place in venues across Sheffield from 24th to 26th July. Tickets are priced at £30 and are available from the event’s official website.
Fest director Sarah Nulty had this to say: “The 2014 lineup was one of our best ever so we knew we’d set the bar high for this year, and we think we’ve done it again with the legendary likes of Buzzcocks and Sugarhill Gang. We pride ourselves on being a ‘discovery’’ festival where people can seek out established talent alongside breaking talent and are excited to share more big and brand-new names for the festival.”
