The Field Announces New Album, ‘Cupid’s Head’
Axel Willner’s art turns dark in his first album produced without computers.

The Field’s typically minimal artwork has taken a turn. This is significant. What used to be clean and white has now turned dark and grizzly. For ‘Cupid’s Head’ it’d appear Axel Willner’s recruited a heart of dusk.
Willner’s follow-up to ‘From Here We Go Sublime’ gains release on regular label-home Kompakt. It’s been produced without any gadgets, computers, electronics. All hardware.
‘Cupid’s Head’ is about visions of the future, tiny actions and their consequences, about sentimentality and most certainly…about life’, reads a very commanding quote from Axel in press release.
The Field, ‘Cupid’s Head’:
1. They Won’t See Me
2. Black Sea
3. Cupid’s Head
4. A Guided Tour
5. No. No…
6. 20 Seconds Of Affection
